Meet Dr. Jeppsen
As an eye physician and surgeon Dr. Jeppsen has served the medical eye care needs of Salt Lake Valley residents for over eight years.
Dr. Jeppsen was born and raised in Bountiful, Utah. He obtained his bachelor of science degree at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, after which he completed his medical education at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. His general medical internship training was also completed in Milwaukee, followed by a four-year residency in ophthalmology at Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin. Upon completion of his medical training he returned to Utah to practice ophthalmology, and is excited to be back in his state of origin. Dr Jeppsen is board certified, and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He also maintains memberships in |
the American Society of Cornea and Refractive Surgeons and the Utah Ophthalmological Society.
He enjoys practicing general ophthalmology including comprehensive medical care of the eyes. Dr. Jeppsen's surgical experience includes cataract and lens implant surgery, along with removal of eye surface lesions (pterygia) and ocular trauma.
He loves sports, including soccer, and also plays multiple musical instruments including the piano, organ, and saxophone. He resides in Holladay with his wife and four children.
